Latest Community Service Project

IBEW Local 340 Community Service Committee assists a local non-profit agency.

On Saturday, June 22nd a group of IBEW Local 340 Community Service Activists came together to do a small painting project for a local non-profit organization, Transitional Living & Community Support, Inc.

It is the goal of the AFL-CIO to promote the great work Unions do, through Community Service projects that we can promote in local media outlets. All the local TV media outlets were sent press releases, as was KFBK radio & The Sacramento Bee, regarding this volunteer project.

The apartment building needed the door and window frames & stairwell banisters painted. The team arrived at the volunteer location at 8:30am, and painting & clean-up was completed by 11:00am.

The following Brothers volunteered their time:

IBEW Local 340 will have more volunteer projects to work on throughout the year, and we look forward to your participation on future projects!
