Information about Next Generation

The focus of our group is to involve more young people in the labor movement. Our goal is to educate, organize and empower the Next Generation of labor activists. This group is open to union and non-union people who wish to get more involved!

We are doing this by investing our time in labor education, union and political organizing, and developing our membership into leaders. We hope you can join us in bringing more power to the labor movement!

Our mission statement:

"Next Generation works to educate, organize, and empower young workers in the labor movement. Our vision is based on inspiring young people to take action and be advocates for social and economic justice. We are a catalyst for change in the Sacramento region by uniting young union members and community allies who share our vision. Next Generation is changing the conversation about labor issues to include and relate to a more diverse generation of young workers. Our mission brings power to the labor movement by investing in the next generation of labor warriors."

What thing can lead new generations to a successful life. It’s the power to speak for there rights. It’s good that you are also looking to empower the next generation so they can understand what actually you are working for.
